Mixing sounds like it was done by a computer with just standard fade to fade.
If this was done by hand big up.
LOL of course it was by hand. Drop by on Saturday and see the mixing in full effect.

There are a lot of people mixing here using digital stuff. Bit far for me to drop by but maybe next time I am in Denmark fella!

I am playing in Manchester so wont be around.
Where do people get these dubs from? is this from artists giving them to you them self's or?
and when you say 'dubs' you mean Dubplate? not a CDR or mp3?

Yes, the artists give them to me in advance before release.
As there is not (proper) cutting room in Denmark, it's actually been a while since I actually cutted acetates. I.e I play wav's, and sometimes do simple mastering myself (got a big studio). The thing is that I have experienced too many clubs with shite systems and setups where the bass feeds into the stylus. Furthermore, with CDs (I don't play Serato), I can burn a brand new turn just before I go to the club, i.e. being able to present the very newest shit.
Serox wrote:Never played at a club where the bass is causing feedback on the stylus and I have played at some right dodgy clubs/warehouses before. Only problem with a stylus I have had is playing on a float that kept bouncing or the wind on a beach blowing too hard
