How the hell do you do that thing where you bring up a search box, and you can scan the screen for specific words..

Just tried it in Windose and Firefox and it brings up the search box in both progs. In Firefox, it highlights the words entered, thus making browsing long texts a piece of piss!

that's like back in the napster chat rooms when ppl would say shit like "press alt + f4 for PM" or some shit and it logs you off instead.

Couple of more useful ones:
Press the ? key on the page inside firefox for quick search, it also highlights the words for you. You can also highlight a word manually, and then press CTRL+F and it will automatically copy it into the search box and autosearch for that word on the page.

ctrl + f4 - close window in app
ctrl + esc - start menu
ctrl+scroll the mouse zooms text in fire fox ... always handy
