Sorry fella I do not follow you.
Don’t worry about people stealing an idea. If it’s original, you will have to ram it down their throats.

I don't understand, reading it made me think you were on about why would people still pirate when things are getting cheap,

then you went on about pirated copies not having as many bugs before moving on to markup?

imo if your on about questioning the software companies integrity to add so much markup to what costs £5 to produce, then you gotta think about the wages for the programmers, graphics artists etc

if your not on about that then i'm still confused

sorry

this.

Btw, why do so many of you complain about bugs with pirated software?!

Pirated software is exactly the same as what you buy in the shops. If you know what you are doing you can crack it and receive all official updates/patches too.

If you have problems with pirated software it will prob be becuase you installed it wrong, your PC is poor or you got it from a bad source.

no i trying to say reduction in cost and general availability at entry consumer market + getting legit support on actual forums
has reduced the typical questions we get on here that clutter a lot and probably has increased companies quarterly profit

tl;dr
simply lower cost = real support reg updates and less dumb shit on here

nowaysj wrote:In this other thread, this guy was asking how to crack reaper. Its 60 dollars dood, and thats only if you want to pay... How fucking much of a fuck faced little shmuck do you need to be to try and crack what is essentially donationware.

Too many worthless motherfucks breathing the air out there.

I know you were thinking polite, but people don't even want it for free, they want to have stolen it.

I mentioned selling massive for 75 bucks and only two people were interested - and probably only to get the lfo sync (no offense guys, good guys, both)

Fuck the big corporate music software developers... wat? Which ones? NI? They're companies that make patent leather shoes that make more money than NI. NI are small, compared to other companies out there. And all they do is make stuff for you and odd ball people like you who like to make music, and for that you say fuck them?

FUCK U!

oh yeah i mean def polite
i mean komplete orig was what?
or think if waves dropped price on packages... one month discounts bring a lot of business in from people who used to used to pirate when they would have bought
imo 3 type of poeple
1.) always pirate bs socialist, hipster fight the power wannabe hackers
2.) always pay
3.) pirate till i can afford

hey I was one of those guys interested in massive (wasn't for the lfo sync either ) still gonna buy it too once I get a new computer

I think that some cracked software out there works fine (ones with keygen should work perfectly) but when people take the program apart and start removing code they can sometimes be doing way more damage than they expect. Then there's just those fucks out there that want to shit all over out computers and install trojan's/malware/gayware for their own fun

Also your idea about program's should be cheaper then people will buy it instead of pirate it, those ideas have only been recent because now companies are no longer trying to fight piracy head on instead they are looking to cater for this new generation where people don't wanna pay for what they can download for free.

Eventually 1 of two things will happen

1. lower the cost, people may pay they may not, (why pay for something that's cheap when you can download it?)

2. lack of sales leads to software no longer being produced,

- either people start developing their own free software for others to use

- people realize they need to give these companies money to get any new software

- people realize they really don't need to buy any new software as there is already plenty enough on the market to last anyone a lifetime

fuuuck I have no idea what I just wrote

agree but like look at comp music or something like it like future music masterclasses
guy pop up waves eq or something similar that easier to pirate cause cost for eq bundle on a noob is like 500$ or quid
obvious pirate time
becomes an industry standard or scene standard by "established" names and demand is up
if they lowered cost gain profit right back
get me?
hype and lower cost can make back outrageous price orig asked
keep company up and in demand non pirated from honest noobs

Are you sure it's not just in there like that as a temporary placeholder?

I'm just curious because I haven't heard anything else about this, although it would be great news considering that there's only two more days left in the month and I can't find it anywhere.
