Parson you da man seriously!

It sure as hell is Rainer Werner 8)

I just changed it to my avatar and was wondering how long will it take til someone recognizes, or will anyone here ever... shouldn'tve underestimated the Dubstep Cineaste gang!!!

You've seen more Fassbinder than me, it's still an ongoing project with me... Somebodys gotta sample some more original films like his btw ;D

If you seen 12 films of Fassbinder, I urge you to watch every Aki Kaurismäki film while you at it! Will love em if you love R.W.F.!

tip: his Leningrad Cowboys films have finns speaking english and are truly asking for sampling!!!

Large up the Cineaste gang inside!

Anyways back to the topic: CONGRATS PPL!

Nice to see Parson do so well, just forward your hat size to Dubway for the tiara, and he'll get you a nice one made up I'm sure :D

Don't forget the usual world peace and looking after sick children for your acceptance speech

I am skeptical about the whole thing. The scene is not really at the point where it needs a prestigious award ceremony in which only a select few are recognized. That encourages insularity.

That said, everyone nominated has their nose to the grindstone. Big up yourselves.

Thanks for the honorable mentions, Hera.

Much love and thanks to everyone who voted for me...I'm blown away. It's been an interesting year, and I'm still a bit in shock of how much new stuff I've done this year. I've scratched a lot of stuff off my "need to do before I die" list because of this music, and people's possitive reception to my take on it. Much love to Nick Argon for giving me an outlet for my music. Much love to Whistla for being the first dj in the uk to play my tunes. Much love to everyone out there who has supported me in anyway, shape or form. Much respect.

if thats the results i have lost faith in dubstep yet again!!!

where is hotflush?
where is toasty?
where is Search And Destroy?
where is dub police
where is Elemental ?
where is protocal x?

seems like the same heads get the fame when alot of people who are pushing new sounds/styles still get over looked!!!

dubstep for me is still very much a bitter sweet from what it is and what it could be... maybe i should start breakstepforum.com lol

Sorry Jak, I might have voted for Kromestar. Nevertheless, you are most appreciated by the Amsterdam family.

Congratulations to all the winners and nominees, especially the DMZ and Hyperdub families: thanks for making it across the pond. The Netherlands have never been this low. You are making underground music a threat to our national security.
