wow :o a moving story there man, this dubstep vibe really has some strong effects on life, i know its no where near as strong as your story but dubstep has helped me through quite a big relationship break up and hard times, its strange but true how a genre of music can have such a big effect on life, sometimes all it takes is to get infront of that speaker stack for troubles to seem distant.

Hope all is well now tho man, :D:

when my ex missus broke up with me in July 06 I was so low I was havin silly thoughts in my head.
my mate insisted on us going to DMZ in Manchester to take my mind off it.
went and had one of the best nights ever and it made me realise that there are things in life worth living for. god bless DMZ

Touching story man.

When i feel down there is two lines of a beasties boys track that alwyas make me smile... cant remember the track name, but the lines are

"been through many times when i though i might lose it, the only thing that saves me has always been music"

It has become a mantra for me many times in this life so far.

thats a wicked story but your brother is very lucky to survive a paracetomol overdose as i was speaking to my brother about this who is a doctor he was saying their is no drugs that can counteract the effects of paracetomol once its in your blood thats it the only thing they can do is pump your stomach and hope for the best. he told me once before some kid overdosed on them they pumped his stomach and he passed out when he woke up later he was so grateful to be alive saying things like thank you for saving me then my brother had to tell him he was still going to die as there was a fatal amount of paracetomol in his blood and there was fuck all they could do, grim

hope your brother stays good though must have been in a dark place to want to do things like that to himself

What a great story. Mine is somewhat similar, though it progressed more over time.. around '04 I was heavily depressed, really down on a massive, seemingly everlasting e/speed comedown.. I wasn't interested in anything life had to offer anymore - including music, which had always been a huge part of my life. I was more and more ready to end it all.
Then around summer of '05 I landed a job as the resident of a local disco - Nothing fancy, but it was the first step towards rebuilding my life. This prompted me to get back into the music scene, slowly getting up to speed on all the genres I had loved - House, R&B/Hip-hop, Twostep/UK Garage.. I was, quite literally, re-discovering the joys of music.

Also, I noticed some new weird, bass-heavy sounds they were calling "dubstep"...

Out to all involved in the scene, especially those with similar tales to tell. Music can save lives.

your brother must not be a very go A&E doctor mate AcetylCysteine is used to treat paracetamol overdose, to boost glutathione reserves and slow the production of the toxic metabolite.
