DUBSTEP WARZ >> GENERATION BASS

the original DUBSTEP WARZ DJs are to be reunited.. to curate a brand new show for me on BBC Radio1...

i've been given the opportunity to do a very special one-off show at the BBC's Maida Vale studios.. which we'll broadcast on Radio1 Tuesday nite >> Wednesday morning AUGUST 19th >> 20th.. we'll also be filming the whole thing for YouTube...

i have invited the original Dubstep Warz 7 - Mala, Skream, Kode 9, Vex'd, Hatcha, Loefah and Distance - to choose one artist each to play on the new show.. which will be called GENERATION BASS...

and it's on!!

listen to the show tonight and in the coming weeks for more details... and of course, the unveiling of the new GENERATION BASS line-up...

I personally think Quest & Silkie (Mala), Possibly Ikonika or Zomby (Kode9), Kutz (Skream)..Not sure for Loefah, Hatcha - probably Chefalllllllll - no idea for Vex'd...or Distance..if Distance chooses someone from his new talent repository - damn he is gonna have a tough time!

Agree with a lot of yours pete I reckon Goth Trad might come up as Distance's selection?

I don't really understand the concept of the show though, is it all up and coming producers or is it just the favourite producers of those people?

Will he be flying all the way from the far east to play on Radio1 for 15mins?

I guess the concept is more of, up-coming who the 7 big names are backing etc
