@ wirez Nice collection of sounds in the intro, really compliment each other well. I really like how the track builds aswell, wasnt expecting the more mid-rangey wobble but it fits. I like the change that happens about half way through aswell, really gives a sense of progression. Not much bad to say here, only thing I dislike is that boomy sounding snare that happens every 4 bars or so, doesnt seem to fit with the other sounds that well. Other than that though, real nice work

@ Dacks I really like how all the drums sound on this track, kick is nice and puncy and the snare cuts through well. I was about to say try mixing the drums up abit and then the double time section came in, works really well just to pull the listener back in. The bass sound is a little generic and does feel a little repetitive towards the end of the track, try automating some of the parameters within the synth just to mix it up a bit. Other than that its a good solid song.

@ Cabre First track is sounding pretty slick, really like the drums some original ideas going on here. Cool idea with the pad sound aswell, is it sidechained with the snare? Nice sounding synth towards the end makes it seem like the track is really goig somewhere. Second track is sounding cool aswell, again, really nice ideas with the drums, like the cut up sound of the snyth, reminds me of Four Tet kinda. Really enjoying your stuff man.

My new tune, posted in the old thread but didnt get any replys, it's a bit heavier than my other stuff.

steeze-- that intro could be abit more downsampled & it would fit nice as. maybe raise the level on those vox samples abit.
when th track turns more trancey but down the level of that bassline pig grunt noise. would sit better i feel!

@steeze: Nice dark wobbles! Maybe it would make the track even better when you put another wobble it it.. The same rythm as the heavy wobble but maybe a higher pitch? Don't know.. i would try it

@dubplateguy Heavy tune bro, I like the vibe and the thriller sample. I think the distorted synths may be a bit overpowering the drums. I dont feel like the bass drum cuts through enough. All and all though, It sweet, like 8bit dubstep

@Jasperv I like the drums, especially after 2:00. The track really comes together after that breakdown. I'd only suggest cutting the track down, it all fits well together but it runs a tad long. Awesome vibes

@Cabre Cool tune, the pad is really nice. Mayeb the lead that comes in at the end could come in earlier but the breakdown at 1:36 is a sick intro to it.


So this tune is the first remix I've been asked to do. I know some parts sound a bit jumbled but i'm looking for some feedback on the track as a whole

@wirez: love it, especially the break down in the middle. Percussion is absolutely bang on, bass is thumping. Great track ^_^

@cabre: Interesting, strong beat, could use a bit more sub though, I'm not getting much more than percussion. Synth at the end is nice though

@steeze: Intro is absolutely sick, Not so into the chainsaw synth, but that's just not my style. Sped up drums in the second part sound funky, good stuff

@jaspervc: Sick track! Percussion is perfectly paced, for a fast moving, but also slow feeling track, does that make sense? Sub is sick also. Very strong production there.

@sirius: Very much my style of dubstep! good work, I'd up the sub a little, but otherwise tight track

@dubplateguy: Can't say I like it I'm afraid, not my thing at all. Production wise it's pretty good, but a bit muddy sounding, everything just comes across as noise, try cutting some of the parts, make them stand out a bit more, and bring some variation in levels. Will make it flow more, and be an even heavier track.

@Cabre Loved the sidechain, the only thing i didn't really liked was the "Metallicca's St. Anger" kind of snare. I would be great if the drum were a little more dry and punchy. but overall the futuristic chilloutgarage vibe sounds awesome

@jaspervc overall composition is good but everything it's too muddy which makes the drum part very weak.

@Steeze sick drums mate! Maybe it would be good to have more sub on the midrange parts and the chorus levels on the bassline seems a bit high to me

@BastionMusic mmm it's not my kind of dubstep at all but i hear it quite good, it's a little repetitive and the bassline is't not like wooooww you could have work that a lil bit more for my point of view.

@Dubplateguy Your song would be just sick if you could do some proper mastering eq and arranging work man. I totally feel the mid range on this one.

@ wirez - really feeling the melody you've got in the intro, got alot of really sweet sounds in there. percussion is nice too but i think that 2nd oscillator could do with tweaking as its a bit rough, breakdowns heavy too, really atmospheric.

@ steeze - love the intro, those pads are well nice, love how they come in and out of the track at various points too. drop could do with a little tweaking maybe another upriser or something in there so it isn't so sudden but overall nice track.

@ jaspervc - really loving the percussion when it drops, very tight but i think ur sub overpowers the track a bit

@ sirus - that tune is fucking sick, well love the steppy hats and all the little detail and sound you got going through it, following u on soundcloud now. really nice mate, could liten over and over.

@ bastion music - i can see what you mean by it sounds a bit jumbled, love the bouncy vibe, nice glitchy sounds in there, overall the tunes nice gt a load of detail in there without it getting messy. nice track.

@kievccs - i quite like that, nice sub, hats roll along nicely too, sounds really well produced but that gunshoty sound is a bit harsh

Haha interesting spelling of my name man Yeh you're not the first to say about the Caspa thing actually... I think it's just those sub drops that make me think of Caspa as an influence

I've already listened to and commented on Levitate, but I'm going to have another listen as I enjoyed it the first time
