why does neally every dubstep record have terrible terrible font design, if you're to lazy to do artwork at least think about a good font. or is that just me
and genrally dubstep flyers are also disgusting.

because pro design costs money, and there's no money in dubstep yet. Watch for the Mu releases, they'll have a budget for that sort of thing I reckon.

I reckon DMZ flyers do the bizz perfectly. What more do you need other than a line up, door tax and an address??

Don't forget the Skull Disco sleeves and their flyers...if you want hands on design then look no further...top drawer!!!

like 2 separate genres of music thrown together, dub and step and made to work but things can get a bit messy, you should hear some of our reject tunes they just change in the middle to something completely different, not pretty...
... with that design I was going for the messy thing anyway which is why i only spent about 5 minutes on it and it's supposed to fold in half as a CD demo cover hence the different aspects
if dubstep were to adopt a design aesthetic i'd like it to be gritty, grimey and messy with a limit of 2 colours...
and speaking of space invaders here's the t shirt design i did for inflight recordings...

i generally agree, i dont like a lot of design in the scene. people either go for minimalist (albeit nice) type design (eg Tempa, Soulja), or cheesy as hell d n b graphics. Where the superstructures at!!!?? Can't wait to try my hand at some dubstep design.
I think the Dubpressure kids havve got it spot on though

thats bollocks pro design is usally ruff, you just have to sit yourself down infrount of a computer and do something or do some arts and crafts and make sleeves.
do it yourself, i bet if you got a pro designed in there'd just give yo some shite graf design anyways.
ok mate keep your beret on, I'm not talking about your home made CDR or limited release vinyl, which is all dubstep is so far. It doesn't make economic sense to pay an artist to produce for an edition of 200. That's the reason white labels are white.
Are you telling us that on a 10000 edition cd on planet Mu, they won't be paying anyone for the cover design?
two yoghurt pots and a pritt stick says they do

and while still on the space invader tip...
...here's one i did for a breakz gig last year or was it the year before
I even left space for wanky sponsors logos along the top
I'd love to do the boxcutter album design if could just get a handle on the brief
