Video DJ?

Anyone know of a "video DJ" here in the States? Thinking of someone that does stuff like what Coldcut does; mixing music videos (on beat) with other visuals, kickass music. Possibly for a trade show booth.

thx

Dorfious "TRUST NO ONE" (remix of Kris Menace Trusting Me)

as far as genre, I'm not really sure. I was hoping you here can tell me. It's for a remix contest on beatport. If you have an account, or care to enter your addy over there, I'd appreciate a vote. thanx. :)

Is this garage? dubstep? what?

Tell me what kind of beat I'm making. I called it Dubstep, Garage blah blah. The "drum & bass" part is just for search results purposes.

Re: CamelPhat WHY?

AHH found it. It's the LFO itself. I don't think the rest of the stuff has to do with what I'm talking about; ever-changing sound. The BP filter is just a bandpass filter. Why would that change over time?? Magic EQ? That's just a freaking EQ. Nope, not that. MM Filter: more sound shaping, but doesn'...

CamelPhat WHY?

Hello fellow producers. I'm using CamelPhat for distorting some kicks but a setting is making the sound "morph" over time. It seems to go in a sort of acoustical loop, if that makes any sense. It eventually gets so distorted that it gets really loud and distorted, but then gradually comes ...

Re: WORKS-IN-PROGRESS for NOVEMBER, 2010

Ok, I've given my heart-felt feedback based on my 30 years of listening to funky music. I was also a break dancer and a scratching, hip hop dj, so there! Here's my wip. Just re-worked last night. lol that first sub hit when the kick and piano riff start sounds completely silly to me. I will definite...

Re: WORKS-IN-PROGRESS for NOVEMBER, 2010

def a wip for me here- looking forward for some input to make this better. http://soundcloud.com/kidstrange/dry-sky-wip Nice vibe man. The snares seem like they need more reverb. Especially for the raggae dub vibe you have going. Also they are a bit too hot. Mainly lower the second snare in your do...
