Re: PUT YOUR WORKS-IN-PROGRESS HERE FOR FEEDBACK.

Aye now my turn. Inspired by the massiveness I've heard in the likes of Trolley Snatcha and 12th Planet and the like I wanted to be massive myself, so I started working on this. My gf said it makes her feel squished and hurts but says it like a bad thing, I dunno though so I need some input on it; ...

Re: Ableton + Serato at NAMM today.

Interesting. Is the Ableton in Serato a fully functional Ableton? Like can I use my Ableton effects while playing in Serato? Is there any way to scratch clips?

Re: dubstep cliches

Every single genre has the same problem. For every creative tune out there will be a dozen copycats, just need to wade through the muck and hold onto what's good and true. It sucks when people are willing to throw the baby out with the bathwater cause bunch of people are making unoriginal formulaic ...

Re: PUT YOUR WORKS-IN-PROGRESS HERE FOR FEEDBACK.

Heres a short clip ive been working on, its very simple but any feedback would be greatly appreciated. The final mix was abou...

Re: PUT YOUR WORKS-IN-PROGRESS HERE FOR FEEDBACK.

Anyone got feedback for me? Track is in the sig. I'm a big flying lotus fan so I like it when people aim for off-centric rhythms, but I think yours is a little too off; when making a rhythm make sure you can consistently bob your head throughout the entirety of the song or just stick with the metro...

Re: PUT YOUR WORKS-IN-PROGRESS HERE FOR FEEDBACK.

http://soundcloud.com/vorzero/behind-the-mask just begining, still a bit to do, sounds different after rendering....... anyway, what do you think?..... definitely needs more variation in the drums, that's the first thing I'd work on. Outside of that I still feel like its missing things, or at least...

I think you need to add bits and pieces for sure, like if I was given that track I'd go to the turntables and scratch some vocals or such over it, just layer in general, definitely sounds like its missing elements.
