Re: $$$How do you guys make a living?$$$
I clean airplanes from 9pm to 7am Fri-Sun. Pays good and is pretty easy but has screwed my sleeping schedule.
Besides that I give drum lessons every now and then and I do random recording projects with friends.

Re: Logic: Using Stereo Output As An Input
You could make the stereo out go out through a bus and just delete the aux in the mixer view. And you'd have to make sure the track you're recording into doesn't have an output.

Re: What If: Massive In Reaktor
I think massive started in reaktor. I believe there's an ensemble called massive in reaktor 5. Massive in Reaktor is a drum machine. Totally different. Ah yes. Totally forgot. It's been awhile since I've browsed the reaktor ensembles. Nevermind :6: Maschine comes automatically mapped for massive.

Re: Production Confessions Confidential
I have no idea how a flanger works. I know how it sounds but as far as what it's technically doing to the sound, nothing.

909 kick then distort and eq over and over again.
This is in Logic but any other distortion works fine

Use more subtractive eqing than additive eqing. Mix the snare and kick together then mix everything else around them.

Re: best way to setup drums in logic?
Sometimes I'll have everything on it's own audio track. But most of the time I'll have all my percussion and hats in the exs24 and my kicks and snares on audio tracks because I like seeing where my main hits are. I never really liked the way the exs or the ultrabeat worked.

I've had this happen before too. But it only happens when I'm looping a certain section and adjusting a parameter. For some reason Logic makes it into automation.

Re: Can you produce when others are listening/watching?
I can. But I feel like I'm boring sometimes, especially when I spent 3 hours on an 8 bar loop. It's funny cause one of my roommates came into my room yesterday while was producing and sat on the couch. Unfortunately for him I spent the next 15 min listening to a 4 bar loop over and over and doing a ...

Re: Slender
After I played Slender, no other game scares me as bad. And I've played all the penumbras and Amnesia. Plus dozens of custom stories for Amnesia.
The fact that it's never the same playthrough makes me hate/love it.
