I don't ever use compression except on my master. If I want my kick louder I just turn everything else down, etc. idk I just never found it super necessary on anything but my master to make it loud.

How about a contest where you have a set of sounds/instruments you can use and that's it to make a song? It's a little different than a sample pack contest it's more like a synth and drums contest. For example: You can use a live bass guitar sound, a supersaw, a harmonica, and a clap/kick/808/openha...

God that's fucking low. My monitors don't pick up the sub at all lmao. I don't like the harshness of that reverbed synth, EQing would probably help that. Otherwise I think it's really cool. The bass is smooth.

I think this is pretty cool I wanna know some other peoples' opinions please. I made it for people to rap over so just keep that in mind when listening.
