Re: Madaro - More Stress Relief (Electro/Dubstep)
On your "big nasty" bass, you need to spend some time taking all the resamples and volume matching them. It dips out too much to have the schizophrenic cut back and forth sound I think you're looking for. The bass is also a couple decibels too high over the drums. You can tell you mixed in...

Re: kiene - wolf's lair (dark, dungeon dubstep)
Really good reverb here. The main riff starts to feel a little empty about halfway through it, maybe use some more automation to keep it interesting. This is worlds ahead of most of the stuff on this forum though, good vibes.

Re: Hope (Deep/atmospheric/fantasy)
Your intro could be more rhythmically interesting. Piano is low in the mix. Pretty bare sounding white noise snare, maybe layer that. Automate some filters or something on that pad to keep interest. Needs some hihats and aux percussion. The ending is kind of awkward.

Re: Prao - Pukes (Dubstep)
A reese is a synth with two sawtooth waves tuned slightly off from each other to get that big phasey sound. A reese + distortion = most of the 'big dirty's in dubstep, I'd say. You have the some monitors as I do so no cop-outs; it's not the equipment, it's your ears and skill at mastering =P. Try lo...

Re: 5imple/Fen Bynch - All I Wanted(Remix/Mount Eden style)
Well you're probably going to want to put all your instruments in the same key as the vocal, if you're going to use it. 'Matching it the best you could' left something to be desired. You did a good job of creating a mood and a space for the song, but there's nothing in that space driving it around. ...

Re: Prao - Pukes (Dubstep)
These are tight sounds, and it's mixed pretty well. I think the lack of melodic movement in your main bass sound stagnates it. You have enough glitched out shit and switch ups in the sound to give it movement everywhere EXCEPT that big reesey thing, and that's probably where all the interest should ...

Re: Flux Pavillionish Track
I wonder what song you're trying to do... Anyways, it sounds too glossy. The piano is just too obviously fake and even sounding. You need to dub it more I think; automate some filters and distortion. Or better yet, record an actual piano. Stack the snare with something, it sounds a little weak. Drum...

Re: Need Suggestions!!!!!
Yeah this is pretty cool. I'd pan the crazy resampled bass part so the cuts between them are a little more jarring. Also tone down the e-piano pad's reverb a bit, sounds too crowded. Other than that production sounds really tight.

Pretty dope mastering job. It's groovy... only thing I'd change is the "pew-pew" laser sample being omnipresent.

Not my kind of music, but good production, and I really like your intro.

Re: S1D - Fruitella
Speed up the attack on the whomps for the fast notes. Don't just loop your whomps for like 32 bars. Needs some breaks, and probably take the second part (0:56) and move it up. Production sounds good, fresh whomps.

Re: stich - unwelcome
Needs a short verb on the drums. Very...sparse. Might work better at a higher tempo, the beat just stagnates it being the same the whole time. I also think this should be far shorter. I'd like to hear that intro piano some more throughout it, and the outro sounds as well. Plays too much like a loop ...

Re: Does this sound any better?
It's getting there, but needs a couple steps in the same direction. All the big dirty sounds are still too loud. Volume =/= power. Dial them back and EQ much more of the harshness out. You can still have a mix that is aesthetically harsh without being so much so that it sounds in error; you want to ...

Re: I fixed the FUCKER momentum going
Multiband compression and limiting on the stereo bus adds negligible noise when done digitally. What it DOES do, is reduce the dynamic range of audio material. The reason the drums sound smashed is because they are; none of that dynamic range exists anymore. Your synths sound like they were set 6-9 d...
