Re: How to mix dubstep with dnb?
On ableton I've been mixing from dubstep into new life by nero. Theres no drums in the intro so it sounds fine down at 140, then during the build up I slowly turn the bpm up to 174 and let it drop

yeah i always thought it unfair that you can piss out an oxycontin in 3 days, but if you smoked a bud two months ago you're at risk of failing drug tests. we really need to catch up on drug policy in general though, MJ prohibition is a disgrace . especially religious types, i mean for something tha...

Re: Adding more elements / interest to my track?
that seems a really good explination from what I understood of it, got a bit lost after the basics. So when you see any scale the key is the note that is in its name 'C' for example, and the sharp or flat or whatever is the notes played in that key out of all the possibilities? The sharp or flat is...

And any physical or psychological negatives from a marijuana habit go away once you stop using, unlike having an alcohol, tobacco, or hard drug habit

As you go around the circle of fiths the scale only changes by one note from the last, so two scales that are side by side in the wheel have nearly identical notes.

sidechaining in ableton. its hard and i still don't fully understand the concept of compression, despite using it liberally. i credit my knowledge of compression to distance's tutorials on utube What part are you having trouble with? I found sidechaining in ableton pretty simple for compression and...

Re: how to bitcrush only certain frequencies

Debugging is a whole nother story though, that stuff sucks when your high. My former roomate is exactly the same. Also, this speaks to creation vs. mixin...
