Setting off in a few hours to buy some monitors, one of them is Mackie MR8 and the other is Mackie Tapco S8, does anyone know if there will be any problems using these two at the same time? will it sound poo?

Can someone please explain to me what a triplet beat pattern is and what im supposed to with a track like Mensah - The Gambia when trying to mix it with a 'normal' 140bpm track.
