This thing seems like a CPU hog. Is it just me?

Pretty cool Youtube channel as well. The Noisia one blew my mind a bit. The Martin Garrix one was um... interesting.

Why do you care what DAW the producer uses?

I don't know why I feel compelled to defend Mushroomhead, but they had two albums back-to-back where I like just about every track. I think they did something a bit different.

I blow as a keyboardist. I would usually only play on the white keys. However, I found out that I like pounding out melodies on pads (Akai MPD18). This way I don't know exactly where the "white" and "black" keys are.

I have my first gig next month. I know it will be a different beast. It's pretty low stakes so I'm not too worried. Luckily I'm friends with a lot of local comedians so I can do afterparty shows and shit until I feel comfortable shooting for the club residencies or whatever.

I have to like it before I'll release it.

That being said, I've released 3 songs in the past 2 years of working to get my production/style up to par. I still have a lil' ways to go.

I think the elephant in the room is the fact that these guys are making it look easy.

I've never had this problem with a legit version.

I've done a few in the past, but now I'm a bit more skilled in my production (thank you DSF) and want to better my product. :Q: Is it feasible to use mp3's for remixing? I know WAV or AIFF is preferr...
