Re: How can i nail this wobble?
what I'm saying is that with a pure sine theres no point in modulating anything but the level, because of the lack of harmonics. pitch ;-) wouldn't that change the level being reproduced though? because different systems reproduce different freq's differently No, it would just change the pitch, how...

Re: How can i nail this wobble?
Obviously pitch still effects the sub bass, you know when the sub bass is gliding up or down etc, so therefore im saying by compressing the lows /getting the lows up in the mix, the sub frequencies will follows the midrange bass so, there im saying that the sub doesnt feel disjointed from the midran...

Re: How can i nail this wobble?
If you want proof look at this track
Flux Pavilion - Jump back
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BSawLopEwjA
And notice how the sub bass isnt static and follows that kind of glidy motion pitch bend thing with portmento. Hopefully you understand what I mean.

Re: How can i nail this wobble?
I know it doesn't but if there is a pitch bend, it follows it if that makes sense, not just playing 1 smooth note -
Lol i'm only trying to help, I found it off some music magazine, im sorry if I seemed really stupid because you sound pretty offended lol.

Re: How can i nail this wobble?
when a sub bass doesn't follow the mid range, it kind of just follows the midi notes without taking any consideration for pitch bends and bassline movement, if that makes any sense

Re: *HELP* How to get Bassline HUGE and WIDE
Hmm, another bit of good advice, thanks - I've tried this before, it does work pretty well tbh but Ive noticed when I add chorus and some distortion effects on my highs, the highs become way too strong almost like a drill to the ears!

Re: Good tips on Snares?
Ok! You want one low sounding snare, with not much of a tail on it You want a middle frequency snare, your typical hard hitting snare you want it nice and dry Now you want a nice clap, which fills up the higher frequencies. Slash on a bit of reverb on your clap, and perhaps but like 15% stereo seper...

A drum pad, with effects assigned on to it (the knobs) using an effect called beat-gater or something like that.

Re: How can i nail this wobble?
You can probably find, a similar preset for this under some kind of datsik, excicision pack. I then processed it with some layering, spread out the mids and highs, added some reverb to the mids. Probably afters he bounced it down and chopped it up to get that kind of wub sound. This including a mix ...
