Re: Dar Kist - Gonatica (Heavy/Dark)
That's pretty fucking sick! Your dark vibes are nice, I'm getting into that myself. Suggestions based on preference would be more progression after the first 16, whether thats with drums, the synths, bass etc.. also I'd add a pan from left to right on those basses that kinda, glide in, especially th...

Re: How to make this wonky bass?
Any actual tutorial on this? I get close when I tried but not the full sound, mine sounds like too much low pass on it, but when I up the cut off I don't get the clean "wonk", there's loads of high metallicy sounds, tried eq'ing out but then I lose the whole wonkyness :u: Only ones I can ...

Re: Ganja WHite Night Synth
Do you mean the pitch bended synth or the mid range wub? The mid range wub at 2:18 sounds like it's riding syncopated off the bass. I always say to people the synth is barely a quarter of making a good song, think carefully about where you place those wubs, try to catch people on the off beat is a g...

Re: How to make this wonky bass?
Well Soloman uses malstrom in reason so it's probably a square wave with a comb filter, but you can make this sound really easy with a single duck organ wavetable in massive, phase distortion/lfo on a daft filter+reverb etc and bingo piece of cake you're on your way to generic wonkedy wonk. Any act...

Re: Tallen - Yup! (Dubstep/Wonky?/140BPM)
Overall composition is good, got good flow and arrangement! But I'd agree the yoi is generic. I'm not knocking it though, great track. As I've said composition and arrangement is decent, but unfortunately uneducated people who don't appreciate music just want the sounds when that's not even half of ...

Smoking Good Remix Comp [Full]
Just finished this remix for Tong8 and CoLor Boy remix contest, any feedback would be good. It's a really deep and trippy vibe.. Its a style ive always been into, but never really approached.. Funny though, I just downloaded the stems and played with just the acapella straight away and built it from...

I saw a quote once that said "There are two possibilities. We are completely alone in the universe, or we are not. Both are equally terrifying"

Re: Is it narcissistic to enjoy your own music?
I think if you enjoy your own music that's great and your song was a success, just having a really big ego annoys me if you over do it. However as I have learned through a few industry artist, BE YOUR BIGGEST CRITIC! Enjoy your music, but question how you can make it the most beautiful thing ever

Proper soaking wet basses?!
So I want to know how to get dripping wet basses, you know the wobbly type (See examples) I've been producing for about two years, and I'd say I have intermediate-Advanced knowledge in a synth, so I'm looking for a little then "Just apply a lfo to a lowpass to get the wobble". I'd like to ...
