I'd rather hear 3 or so trax from 5 exceptional producers than bland filler from another 15. chur Intoccabile's original suggestion as i understand it was to create a selection that shows the flavours of the dubstep forum and its producers. I hear where youre coming from dubmugga but it seems to me...

I'd agree with Dubway. Definately 20 or 30 tracks would be needed to make this work and have reasonable quality control. This won't happen instantly though. I suggest someone finds an FTP host or something and just puts up a post with a link so people can start contributing tracks. If youre serious ...

BIG. Cyrus pulling the deep, deep beats. Looking slightly uncomfortable in the mix for the first couple, then the sounsystem went down. When it came back on he tore it mercilessly! Flawlessly tight, heavy sounds. lots of new faces there too, lots of positive vibes and happy people. Blazey and Joker ...

Peachy, peachy. There's ALWAYS room for decks. Someone told me to mix two copies of the same record, which kind of makes sense, but I found it was harder to tell which record is out of time because they both have the same beats. Don't ever do this. Your two records wll be in phase and in theory if y...

I've put off buying a new mixer for about 6 months so far, because I can't decide between an Ecler and an A+H, lol I suggest getting a lend mate. Borrow or loan each for a day or two if you can and have a good ol mix up. Make a tape have a listen then decide. You can't buy this or that because mate...

I've had my Allen and Heath for four years now. Xone 32 It perfect for me. One very good quality fader, i do't like fannying about with too many effects, i've had great fun using effects mixers but i find overall you come to rely on them rather than your mixing skills if your not very disciplined an...

I think there's many a fair comment made here and i agree with much of the sentiment that people have to offer. I was a DnB head myself and lost it with the scene a while back. Infact i've had to relearn that i can still enjoy DnB by listening to my old tunes again and seeking out the (small number ...

EAAAAASY NOW. Watch out for those new Intel driven Macs though. They're bad boy andd no mistake. But they aren't fully supported yet. they won't run all the current software and when they do they won't be able to run it totally stable for a while. Also they don't seem to support Firwire 800 so you w...

There's a little secret that Mac don't want anyone to know... but if youre in higher education you get a massive massive discount on Logic and some other things too. I'm a uni student and my copy of 7 pro cost me £300 instead of £700. You won't find out about it online because they lock you out un...

This is the next in a long line of bits andpieces of governmebt legislation that i just do not understand. the government have already upped the tariffs for venues that want any kind of music by upping council and other taxes for these places. Also you didn't used to have to have a license to put on...
