Pretty much, think the reason it works is that it's not that far off the wax already in the ear. Yep just get one of them pipette things and a drop in each ear should help out, but it's probably not that useful if it's already started, so get some antibiotic drops from the docs.

I get ear infections every couple of month - from what my doc was saying, most of it occurs when the ear canal doesn't have enough wax in it to ensure that the dirt gets out - drop of olive oil in the ear can be helpful as a preventative measure.
