were any of those acts dubstep? i didnt recognize any as such.. i'm still pumped though I don't think so. The closest so far is probably Neil Landstrum, an old school techno producer who has been doing some dubstepy/grime/breakbeat stuff lately. He's got something coming out on Planet Mu I believe.

I'd also like to know if there is anything in Chicago. The only thing I could find is a grime/dubstep night at Lava Lounge, but I'm not sure if thats still going on.
