Great set, I had a bit of a drug malfunction so I had to skip out before Hijak, which is disappointing, not seen him dj yet.

Only complaint I would have (and really it's a complaint about something that is a positive really) is that it was too stowed to get a good dance on.

The absolute kings of math in my mind were/are Don Caballero: http://www.myspace.com/doncaballeropgh (new line-up is decent but not a patch on the earlier stuff, Don Caballero II, Singles Breaking Up and especially What Burns Never Returns and American Don). Lynx were a good math rock band too, self...

Really like the Berlin dub-techno style of the first track.

Angolan dance music, quite upbeat housey beats with African/Caribbean rhythms and often rapped vocals/dirty synths etc. Pretty good from what I can tell but I've not heard much.

I liked when he said that he might be raising taxes but that it's labour's fault. Fuck off. Fake ass economic liberals. Interesting that the unionist bastard is looking forward to governing Scotland withouth a mandate, yet again, but probably going to end up breaking up the union by coming to power ...
