Atmospheric Sounds
Out of all the tunes i've made (whic aint that many) i've always had the same problem with pads and effects. It's not that I don't know how to make them it's just how do you determine which sounds to use and where to put them in the tune?. There's surely billions of different atmosphere sounds and t...

Some nice tips here, thanks alot people :D Kontakt has great filtering. Just make a bass sound that is close to what you're looking for and record a nice long tone, then sample it and throw it into kontakt. MANY producers use kontakt for making basses. I mean MANY! I don't generally use LFOs within...

How do you make a bass drop??
The only example I can think of from the top my head is in custard chucker by caspa where the bass falls down, I used to be able to do it but I stopped producing a year ago and have only just got back into it, having to learn all over again.

Albino again, i'm really sorry!!
Sorry this is the last seperate thread that I start about albino, if I have any more questions about it i'll p ost in here from now on. My problem is whenever I load my saved tune the synth loads as well, the sound I made and automised plays but nothing at all happens on the synth. When I load the p...

If you want it clean, try notes higher up the keyboard. Things get dirty down low if you want harmonics and bass. Use two waveforms. A cleaner one for higher up audibles and a sub (Sine) for the low down stuff. And does there really need to be 3 separate threads about you titting around with Albino...

Clean Wump
So i've been pissing about with Albino most of the day and have managed myself to get a pretty thick wump going, but how do I clean it up so it sounds smooth and loud?. I'm quite new to dubstep so I can't really site any producers as an example but i'm sure you know what I mean by a big clean wump :...

OK I figured out the LFO, turns out I had sustain off  but I don't like the idea of chosing note values i'd like a little more freedom than that. On the subtractor synth in reason there was an lfo rate nob, is there somthing like that on Albino that i'm missing? I turned the frequency nob but ...

WObble rate on Albino
OK sorted out the whole preset issue that I had but now another one has arised. I've managed to get the wump sound buy assigning the LFO1 to the filter cutoff, I know it's meant to be the adsr envelope but I can't seem to find that on Albino. Now how do I change the speed of the wobble and make it r...

Probably a stupid question about Albino
I'm the sort of person that doesn't read manuals, I like to just dive right in and fuck about, however I appear to have fallen at the first hurdle with this one and having read the manual I can't find the answer. How do you load albino with no presets? I went for the logical choice and loaded an emp...

Wobbling on a sampler
Is this possible to do? what I mean is say I make a wumphy wobble on a synth then resample the sound, can I then change the speed of the wobbles on the sampler or is it best to automate all my wobble speeds first for the whole tune and then resample the sound?
