den of drumz sounds excellent... don't know about the hype surrounding the air tune really... as already mentioned it's hardly the best tune by Doom and I never quite got into Dabrye (just seems like a slightly muddier and less melodic version of Prefuse)... I reckon it would've been better if he'd ...

I'd say RME Fireface 400 or Konnekt 24D... got meself a 24D, quite happy with it, although TC are not very good at timely firmware updates and some things are kinda hard to get used to... The RME is well small and nice though (especially all the routing one can do) just a tad bit too expensive...

actually, good option for budget monitoring is headphones. Senheisser HD 212 Pro go down to 12Hz which is good for something like dubstep. They are not flat by pro monitoring standards, but they key is listening to shitloads of music on them (as many of us tend to do with headphones, at work, going...

I'd second the good headphones suggestion, though I'd recommend the HD-25s... And a good soundcard to go with those something like a firewire Echo Audiofire 2 or 4, you'll be getting enough quality out of those to actually hear your mix. As far as a midi controller goes... I don't know, nowadays it'...

They still do all sorts of electronic music then? that's nice to know, especially cuz when it was Selectadisc and was about to get sold to Sister Ray the kids working there told me they'd be slashing...

hey y'all, it's great to see things like this being done :) might actually try out and see what comes of it.

Anyways, got a lil question: the song needs to be a pre-master right? so 2-3 db overhead space, etc?

and just out of curiosity the tunes get mastered at transition before getting cut?
