whats the Point of getting another cheap soundcard?? silly advice. if he doesnt use ad conversion it doesnt fuckin matter. and even da conversion is only usefull for reference when mixing... and even than, without a treated room and expensive speakers, the soundcard will hardly fall into account.

as long as you don't Record anything through the line in and do the final mix on external monitors, it won't make any difference whatsoever...

... don't get me wrong ;-) i still love my torq... i spend so much time with it, and it wasn't an easy decision to switch. after it crashed on a friend of mine while playing, i got scratch... only then i realised what a huge difference there was. its about many small details, stability and sound... ...

oh... and those multi cables from traktor scratch are also very usefull for the conectiv... when u use them, u can avoid the shitty phono preamps of the conectiv, and play vinyl with everything conected even if the computer crashes and the conectiv doesn´t have power no more.... very important if so...

stable at home, but not at a fucked up venue in front of hundreds of people ;-) the last update they gave out was even more faulty than the previous version, so they had to take it back... it will take them years before they are at serato / scratch level.... torq is nice, but don´t get fooled into t...

i also got very intrigued by torq features.... but i`d rather have less features but a stable programm... most the features of torq don`t work properly... and i doubt that 1.5 is suddenly gonna fix all issues... they should fix their stuff before introducing so many new gadgets.... and i will have t...

i got it a fewdays ago, and... .. it's amazing!!! no reverb.. i'm amazed it has routable effects at all. and they sound nice especially the bit crusher has a very good sound. anyway the overall sound is quite good. made a dubstep tune with inbuild sounds, connected it to my system and was blown away...
