Theres tonnes of ways to route midi from stuff like ableton etc through to vj apps like modul8, or arkaos, resolume avenue etc etc. try vjforums.com, excellent resource, just search for stuff. Another alternative is virtualdj. lots of people think its dogshit but why I don't know, you can mix videos...

regarding the vis at magnetic man, its a guy/guys called "NAME" i think, http://www.name-site.com/ what I know of them is they're probably not the type to duplicate. only caught the last minute or so of magnetic man, gutted really.

I understand what some of you are saying, but visuals can work so well alongside music like this. I think it'll be coming together closely in the next few yrs, A/V acts and such.
