i had the same problem with my evolution controller. i found that i had to make sure it was on the reason preset, otherwise reason would recognize some knobs and not others. If you go into the Reason Preferences then you can select your control surface from a list or create a new control surface fo...

Easily sorted this one. 1 Right/Control click the parameter you want to control. 2 In the drop down menu that appears, select Edit/Automate parameter. 3 In the next window that pops up, check the button that says 'Learn from control surface'. 4 Turn your knob (you should see a green bar move when yo...

sub is one of the hardest things to monitor well, especially if you've got a weird shaped room. the best bet is to listen to a track you know well, walk around the room and find a spot where the sub sounds clearest, defined, possibly a bit overly loud. then when you're mixing down your own tunes, g...

Thing for me is that Johnny Greenwood (Radiohead lead guitarist and long-fringed geek-meister), is an absolute fucking electronic genius god. When a soundwave comes out the speaker, depending on its length, it will bounce back (reverberate) off multiple surfaces in your room and begin to travel...

Kraftwerk have been around since 1970 mate, hardly the late 80s. Maybe I didn't word my original post as I mean...
