The 808 clap does it for me, it compresses very well and fits into a mix with ease.
Native Instruments released two sample packs, the second, Synthetic Drums 2 has a kit designed by Telefon Tel Aviv, this has some of the nicest claps and clicks I've heard by a long shot.

Ahh semantics! No matter what a genre is called most people, myself included, will break it down futher in order to communicate a particular essence of a track or artist.
