Re: DSF HipHop Dubs

...But i'm not sure about the mix, some things just seem off you know, not fitting, like a pair of jeans and a blue sweater that's almost the same colour. http://soundcloud.com/thomasderijk/leek-1 Great tune man, awesome vibe, but you're right about the mix. Re: DSF HipHop Dubs

Oh, indeed! And suit me these tempos do... I am merely curious as to where others end up. \

My DJing mind always kicks in when I'm finishing a tune and I start to imagine how I could work it during a set..

Re: DSF HipHop Dubs

I'll be chiming in with a tune very soon.. I''m currently listening at work and can't really crank it like I need to do the music justice.

Where are people tending to hit with their work, tempo wise? I'm exploring either the 85-90bpm, or 125-130bpm worlds.

There is a bunch of jungle/hardcore stuff being released on the label Hate, but they're very limited runs so you'd be lucky to get a hold of any at the moment... There is some wicked shit there though, so keep an eye out for their releases!

The rave/noise stuff ain't normally my cup-o-tea much, not when I DJ anyhow. This shit is quite intriguing, however...

Cool.

Zomby is minimal, I mean.. just listen to the first tune on that 92 album.. was there even a point in making that track? just looping some wack jungle breakbeat with a really lame bassline. And as for the Skeng remix.. I hate it, I love the original, but that remix is a joke, it's just some horribl...
