oh and alternatvely.. although this probably isnt as good, you could have your audio looping and whilst it is go to the sample display screen and click the :2 or *2 buttons so speed or slow your sample.. you cant assign this to a knob and it doesnt work very smoothly but it may give you something to...

using the simple delay.. first make sure you change both the 'sync' boxes to 'time'.. all you have to do is click them to achieve this.. then just as you would assign something to a knob (by clicking the box in the top right of the screen labeled 'midi') assign the box with the time in milliseconds ...
