Re: labels/artists/tunes that youve sampled off
Ripped a snare from a white label 12", by current value, cant remember name of tracks. I sometimes rip hits off old soviet pop wax. But best sample source is youtube, random clips. Especially for weird sounds. For the drum hits I suggest use Your existing ones to craft something fun and new, li...

Import the track back to FL and listen. Could be the same issue I had a little ago, where it was just shitty soundcard drivers VS ASIO4ALL

Re: Good mp3 compression codecs for subbass?
The thing is, the harmonic is already present in the rendered 320kbps mp3 file, so its not soundcloud. i was just on about soundcloud mostly, if your getting that at 320 then the sub might be too loud in the mix and limiters/compressors bringing it down and distorting it but thats just a guess. Re: Good mp3 compression codecs for subbass?
Ok, thanks for replies, also going to check this sonnox thing out. Maybe I should use FLAC? To clarify: +It is not a sample, but a pure sine wave. +It does is, when I render the mix, and the sub channel doesn't have any inserts. +It is audible only in an mp3, but not present at a wav render or in th...

Re: Trouble Cleaning Up Muddy Bass Synths
highpass, leave a small gap, layer with a tight sub. Also, sweep through with a high Q boost on an eq, to find everything, that sounds bad and cut them out.
