I FORGOT THE GUMMY WORMS :(
Got the Twizzlers & Coke for the movie tonight, but in the meantime I’m in the studio without a snack… How could Dubstep Forum let me leave Rite Aid without my Worms???

Re: Your Go To Plugin Thread!
Deep pockets. Not necessarily. A 199$ Plug-in here or there is not a big deal, you just have to compromise somewhere else. Don't buy a new pair of jeans. Don't buy that new pair of shoes. Wear your busted clothing a few more weeks/months & go ahead & buy that nice Reverb you want... It just...

Re: What are your favourite send reverb settings?
Tbh I suck at reverb. Click through the presets until i hear something I like and then just tweak the wet/dry, maybe lp and hp. I used to be like this. Then about a year ago I started buying issues of magazines like Sound on Sound & MusicTechFocus if they had a big article on Verbs, & actua...

Re: Weapon of choice
I love & use everything by:
Fabfilter. (Pro-Q, L, C, DS, Saturn, Timeless). Timeless is the most beautiful delay in world history.
Slate Digital (VTM, VCC, FG-X)
2cAudio (B2, Breeze) Until I can afford a Bricasti, if ever, I will never need another Reverb. Ever.

Re: Giving away music
I never believed in this, but I’ve changed my tune, and in the future will be giving away albums (if I start a new production name). It seems to be the thing up & comers are doing now, and it works. There are just so many musicians out here trying to be heard you basically do have to give your s...

Re: Where are all the wannabe Pop Stars?
Where are these people? How do I find them? Find a local performing arts college, put a notice up on their bulletin board; "Up & coming mix engineer seeks pop singer to expand knowledge base and develop sound. All styles welcome, all work credited" Put your contact details at the bott...

Re: Where are all the wannabe Pop Stars?
Not necessarily clients, but at least Practice Stems. And in the search for those stems, I realized I can't find ANY music from wannabe pop stars. There are plently of Youtube covers, but nobody making their own Kesha songs. Just a bunch of wannabe Lil Waynes. Also, TONS of Rock Stems. Which is not ...

Where are all the wannabe Pop Stars?
I'm moving away from production (10 years is long enough) toward mix engineering, and hopefully launching my own web service soon. There seem to be no end of wannabe rappers out here, but I can't find ANY, not ONE single set of stems (or any songs at all) from Kesha/Katie Perry/Beiber style artists ...
