Re: FINISHED TRACKS FOR FEEDBACK-- JANUARY 2011
@ Siberun : Thanks for the great feedback! I really appreciate it. I listened your remix, and though the style of it really isn't my cup of tea I try to give some advice. Firstly, it's much better than the original. More variation and breathing space is however needed in my opinion. Give more attent...

Re: FINISHED TRACKS FOR FEEDBACK-- JANUARY 2011
Been a long time. New studio setup, new vibes, marginally more skill. Anyhow, the feedback: @ GDavies: Really nice, dark feel in whole song. All synths are beautiful and well in balance with each other. Sub is deep and menacing. Drums are the weak point of this tune. They sound really lifeless and ...

Re: Full tracks for feedback-- MARCH 2010
@ antihero (SLAKA) Loving release the beast, youve really managed to get the dub vibe into dubstep without being unfaithful to either genre, which i've seen a lot of people try and fail. I'd like the guitar a tiny bit louder personally *DISCLAIMER* I'm a guitarist and therefore obviously totally bi...

I updated my myspace with a new track and new layout! Feedback on both is welcome and will be returned. http://www.myspace.com/slakadubstep New layout is sick man. Re: Full tracks for feedback-- MARCH 2010
@ silentk: Nice, housy tune and vocals fit the mood perfectly. Bassline feels somewhat strange though. It sounds like there's only one note that is properly audible, maybe rest is on too low frequencies? Everything else sounds well balanced and clear. I'd like to see this in chemical's new releases...

Re: Bassbins/scoops/cabinets
Everything really depends on how much bass you need. I would never build big system for a studio. Those scoops in your link are really cheap btw, I'd go for them if I needed 15" scoops. I've built myself two 18" C-subs, double 15" reflex, and mid/top with 2x 12" and horn. Total 4...

http://soundcloud.com/dudesommer/the-cunning-use-of-synths-1 Just finished this one for a remix contest! I'm mixing on stereo speakers, so let me know if anything is sounding shittay. the tune sounds nice, not a fan of these bass sounds though. Speaking of bass... where is the sub? There's hardly a...

Re: PUT YOUR FINISHED TRACKS HERE FOR FEEDBACK.
http://soundcloud.com/jsaxton/pump-this-party-preview requesting feedback :D I'm lovin' the idea... BUT you lost all the funk after the drop. Maybe that's the way you like it, but I was expecting something groovy, yet filthy. Nothing wrong with the sounds, I'm just after the groove, funk, rhythm, m...

Gotta admit, I like this better than Bar 9's "Murda Sound"jsaxton wrote:Soundcloud
I wouldn't use that sample though, as it is already on a released track.
