ive decided to have a pre xmas clean of me dubs.....

whats the best thing to be cleaning em with.. ive heard tepid water with washing up liquid, lighter fluid, wd40...... anyone got any more info... dont wanna be ruinin the tunes obv.....

i've read someones post recommending you place it between two glass panes, underneath the sun. the heat would soften the wax and the glass panes straighten it out, then you cool it beneath the glass i think? anyone got a good solution to a bent dubplate? it arrived and royal mail it appears have been chucking it about, and it now looks warped, though bein metal n acetate, im imagining it can be straightned so to speak..... im thinking of just laying a load of records on top of it and straighten it via p...
