Yep. I'd barely got over 'A Mutual Antipathy' when it came out to be honest. Scuba's a bit special.knivez wrote:the whole album is sick

Re: Dubstep remixes of popular songs
This is my favourite remix of a popular song. Big up Tony Thorpe.
On a less "popular song" tip, Bass Clef's remix of Fiery Furnaces 'Slavin' Away' is amazing, but I can't find a link.

2 hours of Aphex Twin at ATP 2003 was one of the best DJ set I’ve ever seen.dro524 wrote:I didn't even know Aphex Twin DJ'd.
He played techno, acid, house, electro, jungle, breakcore and gabber…but no dubstep.

It's pretty big in Bristol, but I moved a few miles out of town last year and it's more Wurzels than Joker where I live now. Should I have stayed in Easton?

Shackleton has never released an average tune. They're all amazing. I've caned my CD of 'Soundboy Punishments'.
That Harmonia / Eno remix he did a while back is properly lush.

Oops...just noticed the question this time was whether something was “ruining the scene”, rather than “killing dubstep”. "Filth" definitely isn’t ruining the scene as I see it, because that kind of music is a scene in its own right. I don’t hear much of it when I go out. I'm pleased to say...

Re: is 'Filth' ruining the scene?
Evolution is killing dubstep...every style of music has its day. If you don’t like sets that are wall to wall agro (and I don’t), just keep supporting the DJs, producers and labels who keep it varied and push music forward. The good news is that there’s just as much great music coming out on dubstep...
