Re: ***KRK RP8G2 reduced from $499 to $169 on Amazon***

You know, I think you may be faulting the price point, rather than krk's. Now they may have competition down there, but just a few years ago they probably were the most competent monitor in that price range. In regards to your tinnitus - prolly spending time in clubs + being high strung has hurt yo...

Re: ***KRK RP8G2 reduced from $499 to $169 on Amazon***

Meccos, you are really passionate about this issue. Like more than anything else on this forum. Why so serious? They took some important time of my life while getting around their sound. Now that I've moved to a proper pair of monitors I have improved a lot. They are that bad, they will consume you...

Re: ***KRK RP8G2 reduced from $499 to $169 on Amazon***

Avoid rokits at all prices. They are absolutely garbage. /facepalm At $169 theres no reason to not get them if you need monitors. People just like to shit on the krk brand. There not the best out there, but thats reflected in there price. For a first pair of monitors they are perfectly acceptable. ...

Re: Pulling the trigger on some studio monitors. Help!

Nope, you are not an asshole but you do have an asshole attitude. If you don't really know about monitors you can just jump around and say that crappy speakers offer good value and throw the whole marketing thing as an argument. But to be honest the only asshole around is myself, don't get me wrong....

Re: Pulling the trigger on some studio monitors. Help!

no offence taken bro, i just laugh at how easy it is for people to hate things that are popular and come up with reasons as to why these things are shit. haha! eg, you were saying they rokits were shit based on what youve heard with zero experience with actually using the speakers.. same as everyon...

Re: KRK rokit 6 buzzing issues

Use high quality balanced cables. Something like a TRS to XLR cable from mogami will stop the buzzing.. I had the same problem until I changed my crappy cables.

Mekha – Immersion (Clicks & Cuts/Dubstep/Dub Techno)

I've been trying hard to blend the old clicks & cuts style with dubstep & dub techno. I'd love to hear your thoughts:

Re: Skrillex Saws? - (NOT BASS, and not what you think eithe

oh god .you skrillex fans (noobs) never give up do ya? What does being a fan of skrillex have to do with being a noob? This was a good question, as I was also curious about such saw sounds. Honestly stfu. We wan't to learn the basis of a new sound, that's only going to help us with sound design, th...

Re: Affordable Field Recorders

The h1 is an excellent field recording unit for the price! But.. you might want to consider the H2n instead. The H1 captures waaaay too much "handling" noise to actually use it. (unless you use a tripod or something) The H2N is a much better recorder.. if you are going to spend some money ...
