Minimal music doesn't mean minimal effort.

They're sick producers, I would love to be as talented as them.

Don't care what other people think, at the end of the day its music and everyone hears music in their own unique way.

You can release your own but unless you are fucking Skream you aren't going to sell anything. I have my own label and release my own tunes but no solely and I don't exclusively put out on my label either. IMO if other labels won't sign your stuff then it probably isn't worth putting out. In my case...

Someone (can't remember who or where or when ) was on about something like releasing their tunes on their own instead of getting it signed to a label or something? or did i mis hear?

yeh it does, and i made sure of all the frequencies etc etc nothing clashes and it sounds nice and clear, its just not very loud so the other tunes completely swamp it in the mix im doing.
