This mix is fresh as you like. Tons of new beats, really well put together. That Bass Clef track really gets me each time I hear it.

Thanks Nick.

Anyone know the date for September's DMZ?

Knowing me it's probably mentioned somewhere here but I've had a quick trawl and I can't see... can anyone fill me in? It's just I'm leaving the UK for a while round about then and I want to arrange things around reaching DMZ.

Thanks.

Got a copy of his Eversol ep on Palette somewhere... Pretty good techno release if I remember rightly. Also had his Beyond This World ep on Rat Records, though it got trashed. Hard to believe it's the same guy. Would love to hear what he's doing these days.

Nah, from the UK, but in the process of moving to Brazil. Was out there until May, but I've had to come back to sort out visa/money issues...

Most technoheads I know are loving dubstep stuff at the moment. However, my experiences of Brazil are that people like it absolutely fucking banging at techno parties there – sad but true. Even when it’s billed as ‘techno right across the spectrum’, most djs just hammer out 150bpm washing machine ta...

Glad some folk are enjoying this. Some more mixes on a similar vein (though with less of a techno element) here: http://spannered.org/mixes/uberdog - the one from September last year probably being the pick of the bunch.

As for debate about big corporations owning/developing/shaping the technology we all use - well, for many things that's the case, but it doesn't mean you can't get some piss-cheap/free webspace, learn some html and get your music out there off your own back while avoiding supplying Newscorp with an ...

dub/step/electro/nica/techno mix

Bit all over the shop this... but did a mix the other week with the tunes I've bought over the last month or two. Couple of things I'm not sure I should have included, but it's got some fun moments. If minimal techno does your swede, cut to about 25 minutes in. DATATHIEF 'Advanced Vocal Engineering'...

Picked up my copy of Brood from Rooted... Not had a issue with any other Hotflush tunes, and I've got pretty much the lot.

Yeah, that Vertical Disintegration twelve is great tracky techno - I pulled it out again recently and put it back in my bag.

After weeks of looking forward to Forward I’m now going to this instead cos my girlfriend has bought me a ticket. Absolutely gutted I’m going to miss such a stonking line-up at The End, but I guess seeing Vex’d, Pinch, Jega, Distance, Boxcutter and Milanese all on one line-up isn’t to be sniffed at.

Dunno, I think different crews do things regularly down there and have done for years. It's a legal loophole - because it's a beach it can't be policed by the river police or the Met. Info about last night's event was mentioned on these links below. Will post again if I hear about summat decent happ...
