Re: MPK 49 or Axiom 49 ?
The MPK has way more features than the Axiom. More pads, has an apreggiator and just looks cooler. (The mod wheel and pitch bend light up orange... fucking cool) And the MPK just all around feels studier stronger and more reliable. I say MPK all the way. (It even rhymes so it must be true)

Re: What synths do you use for pads?
Check it out... pretty rough just threw it together real quick but it meets what I was talking about. Edit it a bit changing the LFO speed and try different filters in the filter 1 place to get different cool sounds as well as changing oscillator 3 cause thats what gives it the variation! http://www...

Re: What synths do you use for pads?
You can make a really cool pad in massive by taking two sines, tuning one up a fifth (+7) and putting an LFO on their Amps. Put both the amps at 50% and put the LFO's going opposite. So one is all the way up when the other is all the way down. Then add some delay (most important part, really makes t...

Re: Girlfriends
Its kinda the worst. I have a girlfriend long distance and whenever she's here (spends usually 3-5 days here at a time) I don't get shit done. At first its cool cause I'm like "Yes girlfriends here! Time to get down!" but after a while all I want to do is sit there and stare at my computer...

Re: SKRILLEX - CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM ONLY PLEASE
Getting Bro's and Emo Girls affected is the reason Skrillex is famous. Clearly the reason why DSF is too. High fives all around guys!Electric_Head wrote:I think just the fact that Emo Girl is effected by DSF shows how uber cool we all are.
Who cares about anything beyond that?

Re: How to make badass wobbles
I can't hear the song because I'm in class but I know you can make some pretty cool laser like sounds (sorta Zomboy esq) by making any wobble and then putting the LFO on the pitch of a comb filter with the dampness and feedback at 50%. Put the pitch at 25 percent and LFO it according to your taste. ...

Re: What is this KOAN Sound?
I agree actually. The quality of all their stuff on all the songs on the EP is really awesome to me. I'm all in all very impressed with it. In fact, why not... Anyone have any idea how to rock a snare like the KOAN Sound one? It really kicks you in the chest.

Re: What is this KOAN Sound?
Word man. Makes sense I'll have to give it a try. Definitely send a link when you're done I'd be interested to hear. I've tried doing the same sound using granular synthesis and just making it all slopped up with filtering (WOW Filter) and some EQ shifting modulation but it still lacks the clarity a...

What is this KOAN Sound?
Hey dubsteppers, So I just got the new KOAN Sound Ep and I've gotta say I'm really digging it. Most notably however the song "Meanwhile, In the Future." I am really impressed with the sounds they've gotten in the drop and I've spent some time trying to recreate it (for educational purposes...
