Re: Making Snares? How?
I posted a short tutorial in this thread on how I make my snares, maybe you'll find it helpful :) http://dubstepforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=63&t=281693 I use the theory there to make snares like this, think it's what you're after https://soundcloud.com/blinkesko/upcoming-remix-preview/s-OVdd...

Re: Hollow Point (Barely Alive Remix) Growl
The funny thing about these Barely Alive guys is that they spent so much time making these silly growl basses their mixdowns sound like poop right now. Good thing I stopped making them and got into real stuff. I like their mixdowns, they're raw and fits their sound imo. If their sound is shit then ...

Re: FL Studio 11, tips, tricks, shortcuts etc.
a lot of them sound shit. a few have a quite dramatic (negative) effect on ur audio even when no settings are engaged it's just my opinion but i don't particularly like using them as bread and butter effects and processors looking back its not clear that i meant the effects not the generators ...

Re: The Official Growl Bass Thread
https://soundcloud.com/nickraymondg/barely-alive-keyboard-killer Matt's killing it nowadays :) Thanks man! That growl is FM8 + Saturation + Ohmicide to distort the highs + 1 highpass. All of that vowel is from a highpass lol. There are a couple things in between, but the idea is simple: Make harsh ...

Re: MUST DIE!'s guitar lead
Sounds like some saws or something in Fever Dreams part 1, ran through some distortion/guitar amps, with some reverb after. Pitch bending and vibrato at some points to make it more interesting and more guitar-like. Probably the same in arcadia
