hey guys, i'm finishing up a track and bounced mostly everything to audio, ableton 8.
i'm getting a shit ton of laggy cut out of the samples, kinda freezes up ableton, says buffering samples in the bottom right, flashing "R" in the upper left.
how can i work around this?
thanks

Untitled - Arkitecht (Electro Fusion) [make ya wanna dance]
http://soundcloud.com/sr20dream/826-bones hey guys i figured it'd be wiser to ask for advice during production rather than post, it's easier for me to make tweaks. anyone have any criticism! anyone like it? hate it? how does the mix sound on your end (i want as many opinions of this as i can) other...

Re: Arkitecht - Thunderstorm [Drumstep]
I would consider this to be too cliché. It just sounds like it's been made with a 4/4 way of thinking. Every part of the structure is too predictable. I don't like the choice of melody and the plodding drums that always seem to have the same fill in at the end of the bars. The only positive thought...

Re: Arkitecht - Thunderstorm [Drumstep]
otherwise i am loving the criticism, i unfortunately made a few things permanente early on in the production such as the entire drum track, which i later found out when mastering, that the levels were fucked up. so everything i am picking up here is not necessarily something i can do to make this tr...

Re: Arkitecht - Thunderstorm [Drumstep]
while we are at it.. i can't seem to find a good wav to mp3 converter, i tried using audacity and it mashed my mix to all hell. i heard itunes does it, but can't figure out how to do it (maybe not determined enough). and on top of that, what's the deal with soundcloud creating imaginary clipping? m...

Re: Be honest, Does your own music make you emotional?
I've had this a few times where I've been writing a piece of music that I really connect with and really represents how I feel. (I guess it's easier to connect with music that represents your own emotions than someone else's) and I gotta be honest I've felt myself tearing up a lil before (manly tea...

need help identifying the waveforms used in this..
http://soundcloud.com/sr20dream/nasty-nate-2 hey guys this is an old song i made and unfortunately it went corrupt and i ended up having to create the whole structure using clips of the master track instead of stems, so it's sloppy and choppy but i just wanted to get this idea out there so i'd reme...
