Re: Successful theft
Clothing/cigarettes/alcohol/sweets/snacks/headphones and other electronic crap, mostly because who has money to buy all that when you're a teen, unless you have parents who buy you anything you want. When I was 14, we did a break-in on local store in a middle of the night without any sort of plannin...

Re: Opiates
^^ Fuck, I don't even want to imagine this happening in some bigger procedure. Some people have woke up with their belly sliced open. Read some shit about someone who had a tooth removal. Doctor tried to pull the tooth off and then came to the conclusion "it's a toughie, give me a scalpel"...

Re: Barely Alive - Shudder Scream??
I've always wondered how they make this sort of "screaming" wobbles/growls (KillSonik and Zomboy for example). I feel like there's either shit loads resonance on a filter/eq and some specific type of distortion after that in the fx chain to get that fuzzy quality, or lots of automation on ...

Re: Why Musical Talent Isn't Enough to Achieve Success
Just my point of view. It sucks, but that's just how I see it. There's probably thousands or millions of different sorts of artists (not only musicians, other form of artists too) who have been doing whatever they do for years or even decades and they are damn good at it, but their style makes sure ...

Re: Why Musical Talent Isn't Enough to Achieve Success
I'd I was just trying to say that the type of music you make matters how "successful" you're to some point. I could guess that to many people "success" equals to money, fame and being better in something than others (really successful athletes for example). How would you think yo...

I'd like to add to this: what is good music?. How long has Burial been making music for example? I don't think he is exactly rolling in a big pile of cash..

Re: So, did you hear, Camel Audio has gone tits up?
Some guess for buy outs are Ableton, Apple and Logic. If somebody bought them out, my first guess would be NI. Hasn't it been pretty much NI Absynth vs CamelAudio Alchemy for some time already? I've seen lots of stuff like "should I buy Absynth?" with answers usually being "get Alche...

Re: Nokia $29 "Brick" phone with 1 month battery
I always get wtf feeling when I go to a store and see these rip off "granny phones" aka Nokia 3310s, just wider and bigger buttons, probably even less features and still having around 100€ (over 100$) price tags on them.

Re: Slapping chicks
Anything fistfights you see in videos are pretty easy to stage. If you want something that's by like 95% chance not fake, you can find pretty damn disturbing and realistic looking videos around the internet from places like Syria etc.wobbles wrote:def not staged bruh

Re: What sound/instrument is this?
Detuned saw waves playing chords + envelope with short attack and long release on the filter cutoff + fx. I got something similar in ES2 in 30 seconds. Hard part is probably trying to figure out airy sounding chords with it.

Re: "Rape"
false rape claims This messes shit up a bit. If there's been 2 or more people having sex together and no random witnesses anywhere nearby, nobody else never really knows what really happened. If you were a woman, what would a be a better way to save your ass if you would get caught on cheating than...

In the case they left IDs in the car by accident and not on purpose, what a fail if you ask me. Still they are humans after all so mistakes happen, but fuck, doing something like that and getting caught because you left your ID card in a getaway car..... would probably shoot myself just because I wo...

Random thought: Spent 20€ (about 25$) on some piece of crap gaming headphones, just so I can chat shit with people. Turns out these have tighter sub than any "real" headphones I ever had.

especially, when you have to hack your way through thick masses of shit like half the stuff u just described? Well what is shit depends on your taste. I don't consider all tracks that have rich midrange content or more loudness than usual as shit. I'm just not that interested in music with no varia...
