i'm about to head to taiwan for work for 2 weeks - thought i'd pop in and see if anybody knew of anything going on while i'd be over there. might pop over to japan for the weekend of the 28th but i'm not sure just yet...

water temp is pretty much based on outside temp. one pond has a faster-running stream feeding it, the other a slower stream, so the upper pond tends to be a bit warmer than the lower pond. aside from that i'd say just watch for the sunshine
