what you might need to do is go to the audiophile control panel go to the patchbay/router tab and set it to monitor mix and then in soundforge put that to record the monitor mix.
try that, it might work. should do.

turning down freqs and volume goes up

i've heard people talk about it before, I started looking out for it and noticed that when you low cut or cut the eq the level actually increases a bit. does anyone know why this is and can explain it? i was thinking it must be that the frequencies around the one cut go up as if you turn the resonan...

yeah its the sample rate, if do it at 44.1 there will be no problems.
if you still need help setting up your soundcard let me know.
you just need to set up the asio setting on the audio driver 2 tab in preferences. that's all i did at it works perfectly.

buy an acid house compilation and there will be a sample waiting for you!!

i think its an 808 bass sound.

but if you put 2 square waves together and lfo it you should get it.

using audio files instead of a sampler

dunno what everyone thinks but i'm starting to think using the drums on audio channels instead of putting them in a sampler like exs24 or kontakt seem to sound much better, cleaner and crisper. it seems that you don't have to do so much layering either, whereas using a sampler you might have to use ...

if its the one before the snare (i know there are loads of different versions) you can just cut it up and just not include the click.
if you are using recycle its much easier, you can just chop it up and then not play the note its on.
