Post by Kilo beats » Thu Apr 21, 2011 4:39 pm

few questions for ya peeps.

princes trust have given me £250 will it work grant to put on a event. i have secured a venue for free.

im in need of one, mayb two up n' coming artists to book, who wont eat up my budget. OR i need a headliner who costs around £250 that will bring a croud. any suggestions on who i could get?

also i read a thread on DSF a while back about how to put on an event and cant seem to find it.. does anyone have a link?

i really want to make my first event a success.. any advice on how to do so would be appreacited.

Just straight up book me for 7 hours. I'll bring 30 vinyls, play both sides of each track, not mix, stand with my arms crossed and aggressively nod my head.

I'd happily pay at least £27 entry + enjoy a good drinks deal such as £4.99 a pint for that.

nah you've got it all wrong, just add loads of echo, reverb, spinback and delay between each track so that it seems like you're mixing when actually you're not, you're just pressing buttons like a trained monkey. Then make sure to have an MC who won't shut the fuck up between songs and spills Redstripe all over the crowd. £20 entry right there
