Not got anything to back your Hans Zimmer claim in light of those two youtube videos I posed then Sonika?

(that video is funny though, why the fuck would you film yourself doing that?

Look back a few pages of what I wrote about him, but basically he's a plagiarist, he makes a team of workers that pretty much do everything for him giving his compositional process something of an assembly line feel, he reuses his own shit in multiple films and his music is bland and cheesy as fuck.

He is everything I hate in Hollywood movie scores and basically just in it for the money like a boy band's producer would be

ooo didnt know that

should ve expected it with it being hollywood n shiet

fukcking ncaughty tnuc Hans
ur straight off the musical geniuses list my son

nope, absolutely nothing ;-) you're absolutely right about the cookie cutter-ish aspects of zimmer's music, but I still like it. I've got a bunch of his scores on my computer and I like listening to them sometimes haha, they sound very "epic"

if you're right about the plagiarizing thing, then that's pretty shitty

my favorite soundtracks are either Clint Mansell - The Fountain or Vangelis - Blade Runner

iunno mate i think his music is pretty damn groundbreaking, especially his first. really unique to me. i don't really see the comparison between him and Actress; if anyone, i'd compare him to Andy Stott, and Shell is waaayy more garagey than Stott is too. i'm not really aware of his poster history, so sue me there, but i do remember someone mentioning he got banned from here for posting a pic of his smegma or something like that? that's just hilarious to me

He released a good EP on that Mute sublabel recently.

Not saying he's a musical genius of the decade or whatever but you can't say he's shit

Yeah, I'm not sure guitarists can be that influential or be looked at as genious anymore, but that's a good shout still. Proper alien sound.
