good choice of sounds
nice melodies
good ambience/atmospherics
minus points
theres no real lead up to the drop. Just drifts in.... maybe high pass the sub wobbles in the intro adn strip the drums.
doesn't really step along very well. Drums could be simpler and the snares fatter/snappier. the rhythm feels too rigid too, could do with having some more looseness/funk in it.
the arranagement is uninspiring. the tune starts, meanders along then stops.
You have some good sounds so make use of them sparingly. you don't need shit loads of dubby fx/ambient noises to fill the soundstage, one or two used sparingly wqill have the desired effect.
hope that offers some useful pointers. if not, feel free to tell im wrong.

Thanks for the feedback, appreciate your time. I do agree the track does tend to meander and I guess getting the funk into the drums is the real trick. Will try and rework the track...or maybe move on!Batfink wrote:
