Judging from that snippet moth sounds really boring. I dont identify Burial with these sounds. He has done way better in the past. Wolf sounds a bit better, but I wouldnt rate this release as a big one.

...and you know this how ?

is that burial tune in 4/4 ?... cos if it is then someone needs to roll round will's house and show him where the quantize button is

they really don't

both tracks sound like a great fusion of both styles. i like both artists and to me this has got to be a collaboration

moth does sound a bit 'boring' as a soundclip but that's assuming nothing else happens in the tune - which i doubt

i think this sounds like a good release

99% sure both tracks are in collaboration. samples are pretty boring in truth, but as always, it's worth reserving judgement until the final 12" arrives. fingers crossed they develop nicely.

If most of burial's stuff was heavily quantized it would lose all the feeling mate.

And these tunes have gotta develop, burial has always been about progression.

thats exactly what i was hoping for! can't wait for this to arrive.

one question.... does the vocal line in "wolf club" develop because it has so much potential in that tune.

You absolute fucking spastic.

SLOPPY DRUMS???
BURIAL???
WHAT... THE... FUCK???

Honestly? Can you not appreciate the fact that Burial uses his ears to place his drum samples? Rather than an automatic quantize function on a sequencer? And that he is so good at this, that depending on the track in question, it can add extra tension, suspense or even just plain old groove to his beats?

Seriously. Sloppy fucking drums, i've heard it all now you clueless fucking twat. Burial's drum loops are, for me, so effective that they are constantly one of the major highlights of his tunes, which really is saying something considering how much I love nearly everything about nearly every single tune he's ever put out.

Anyway, I would go off on one about how wrong you are about the ambient samples he uses, including crackle (amongst many other different kinds), and the fact you seem to be criticising his pitch-shifting of vocals, without actually having anything to say, constructive or otherwise (other than three question marks), but you really aren't worth any more of my time.

You don't deserve Burial. tnuc.
