Played that Toasty tune "Knowledge" on the biggest club system in San Francisco this past weekend. Think it was mistaken by the USGS as a 7.0 Quake on the ricter scale because that tune sounded HUGE on them bassbins.

But yeah, lookin forward to the new stuff on Hotflush. Big ups!

C'mon, it's a monster tune mate. First time it got played down at Fwd>> it got rewound about 4 times.

Granted Toasty has written loads of sick tunes, but Knowledge was a huge hit both within the scene and outside it in 2004, much like the Vex'd LP or Request Line in 2005. Plenty of techno & breaks DJs playing it, which you can't say for a lot of tunes from the genre.

Anyways, big up Hot Flush each & every, liking the look of the 06 schedule, and how about some more info on the album?

Each to their own BUT at the time when it came out it was big cos its like nothing else that was about at the time. I think it said "Toastys landed" We didnt hear much of this kinda style b4 and then all of a sudden this came, then we had Vex'd on the scene and now we have lots of ppl making this kinda style so now maybe in some ppl's eyes its nothing special but you only have to look back at when it was a true dub and how much impact it had to see its a special track and always will be in my eyes

Just to emphasise how big Knowledge STILL is, it's on the forthcoming Bugged Out! album mixed by Miss Kittin.

Album: you'll have to wait a bit for details on that...

i'm not saying that's not a big tune with great 'hostorical' impact i just say that i don't like it - imho toasty made better tunes than this one - that's all :)

and about miss kittin - i'm not sure if that's sth to be proud off ;)
