theres a bass like that on the jungle warfare sample CD or i think it can be done by detuning two sines

2 sine waves 1 octave apart,tape saturation, detuned slightly

Way i did it was one two sine waves, one detunes up by 50 cents and then run through some light distortion, maybe overcompressing of summert

I think theres a clean version on my website, CD Rip, cant check now, under bourbon samples if it is.

Yep, 3 saw tunes 1=detuned +25 Cents 2=detuned-25 Cents, Unison expand, subtle lfo with a low pass + Bass Eq = Rummble

It's ridiculously easy to make. You could even use the old wobble LFO route.
